Coogan fun
Can't wait for the new series of Saxondale tonight. Here are a few classic Steve Coogan moments to get us all in the mood.

& what did you think of the ep? I like Saxondale, Coogan & Normal together makes sense. Even that Parole Officer film.
No clip of a miniature naked Coogan struggling to be born from inside a plastic womb perched in an ornamental garden, while people in wigs mumble that "it's the best thing he's done in ages"?
Was out last night, so I'm watching it OD tonight. I think Saxondale's really good - I have a feeling the second series will take off a bit more than the last one, Office-style. There seems to be much more coverage this time round. The whole laugh at him and with him thing seems really different, for some reason.
Sadly YouTube fails on the womb request...
A strange little show really, the end of series 1 was quite touching. Watched this new episode this morning but won't spoil it. Apparently NBC are to remake it - which might be good, if they got, oh, Jack Black to star...
The next Coogan thing on the horizon is his psychiatrist character in Curb.
That series 1 ending was wonderful:
"Tomorrow, this place will be filled up with disused refrigerators and old bins. And I want that tin of potatoes to be at the bottom of it all."
"You're a bit of a dick sometimes, aren't you?"
"We're all a bit of a dick. It's the human condition."
